Renovation

The homeowners of this three story historic home located on First Street in Bloomingdale came to us with the concept of embracing the contrast of old versus new; later it became a driving factor when making decisions throughout the design process - Historic meets a Modern Black and White. Carefully, we played with these contrasting ideas and worked on a harmonious balance. Original trim, mantels, stairs, doors and other architectural features were not only kept but highlighted. All the new editions to the spaces were done through a warm, minimalistic and edited lens.
